MySpace Group

Due to the fact that many people use Myspace in lieu of Facebook, and that many people do not have e-mails with a ".edu" domain, Sam suggested, and I decided (I'm the decider), that we implement a simple Myspace group with those persons in mind.

I have much more to comment on, but having just returned from the conference, I have a lot of catching up to do here at work. We had a blast in Buffalo, and I learned a lot and have a lot of ideas and events to implement. I'll be writing more soon.

  1. This is our website. Both Myspace and Facebook groups now exist for our members to join, in order to network through and get the word out. Since persons such as yourself don't have the ability to use Facebook, so Sam suggested that we use a Myspace account as well.

Facebook and Myspace are simple ways to set up nodal points for our group, and don't require me to maintain them with any serious energy. People can join them and see who is in the group, as well as leave discussion board announcements and bulletins. Some people are more likely to use this than the blog's post function.

Anyway, it's just a virtual community for our group, and doesn't replace the website and the major source of information and goings-on for AAFSA.
